Gap-Maximum-Point
The query space or concept with the highest absence-to-demand ratio in a given knowledge domain — where search intent is demonstrable (users are looking for it, or would look for it if it existed) but authoritative content is globally absent. The Gap-Maximum-Point is the primary target for knowledge positioning in the Ignorance Graph methodology.
Measurement note: Absence-to-demand ratio cannot be directly measured with standard keyword tools, since high-demand gaps have no search volume by definition. The methodology uses indirect signals: adjacent query volume, implied questions in existing content, practitioner vocabulary without indexed definitions.
