Pre-Consensus Territory Definition

Any knowledge domain or query space where SERP consensus has not yet solidified — where results are heterogeneous, where no authoritative reference has emerged, and where the first entity to produce a definitive answer can establish a knowledge first-mover position. Pre-consensus territory is the primary operating domain of the Ignorance Graph methodology.

Example: In 2023, ‘AI hallucination’ was pre-consensus territory — discussed by practitioners but not yet defined authoritatively in indexed content. The entity that produced the first clean, schema-marked definition during that window established permanent definitional primacy.
